Webinar: Framing housing and Homelessness

Date: 12 March 2025

Time: 1-2pm AEDT

Location: Zoom (register for link)

Homes and housing are set to be hot-button issues for the election in 2025 and beyond.

Common Cause Australia, in partnership with Homelessness NSW and the Regional Local Government Homelessness and Social Housing Charter Group have recently completed two comprehensive message research projects with the Australian public on the topics of social housing and homelessness.

Our research uncovered key frames and message tactics that boost public support for real and lasting solutions to the housing crisis.

On 12 March at 1pm we will be hosting a public webinar on Framing Homes and Housing based on our research.

In the webinar, we will share our key insights and recommendations for how to frame housing issues - including social housing and homelessness - in the lead up to the federal election and beyond. We’ll also share details on how to access out latest homes and housing message guides based on our groundbreaking research.

Who should attend

Advocates from local government, peak bodies, homelessness support services, community housing providers, grassroots and lived experience organisations and anyone working on issues connected to the housing crisis, including social housing, homelessness, and affordable housing.
